This September 26th, the Corey James Memorial Good Time Benefit is coming together for another very important reason — to support our second beneficiary, 15-year-old Simao Sequeira, and his family during an incredibly difficult time.
Simao is battling acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a serious form of blood cancer. His treatment journey will require him to remain in the hospital for approximately the next six months, keeping him away from home, school, friends, and the normal life a 15-year-old should be living.
During a time when a family should be focused entirely on their child’s health and recovery, the financial and emotional burdens can become overwhelming. That’s where our community can make a difference.
